Description

Moon Alley candles are entirely handcrafted in Murphys, California.  The original technique used to create the candles is a result of years of development, reflecting the artists’ love of color, classic design, candlelight and the creative process.  Once lit, the play of light from the flame brings life to the surface of the candle.  The illuminated design is a union of beauty and function. Follow these tips to preserve the beauty and extend the life of your candle.  Burn Candles in draft-free areas.  Do not allow the hot pool of wax to extend past the inner edge of top disc (or within a half inch from candle’s edge).  Burning the candle for too short of duration can resullt in a narrow well wich will not allow for extended burn time or area to place refill kit.   Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch.   A refill votive may be placed within the candle once a sufficient amount of wax has been burnt from the candle.  Please refer to the burning instructions above.   Below – Moon Alley Candles on the dining room mantle at the Jabberwock Inn.

MONTEREY CALIFORNIA

Monterey is a city on California’s rugged central coast. Its Cannery Row, one-time center of the sardine-packing industry, was immortalized by novelist John Steinbeck. Today, it’s a popular strip of gift shops, seafood restaurants and bars in converted factories. Also famous is Monterey Bay Aquarium, with thousands of marine animals and plants on display in underwater and interactive exhibits.
