“Take Me Back to Those Redwood Trees” Print by watercolor artist Julia Esdaile

$50.00

Now available as a giclee print, Julia Esdaile’s watercolor “Take Me Back To Those Redwood Trees”, depicts a walking path through a Coastal Redwood forest, capturing the lush foliage below and light filtering through the Redwood canopy above.  Coastal Redwoods stretch from Humboldt County’s vast alluvial plains to the fog shrouded valleys of the Big Sur Coast.

This print is 12 x 12 in. It comes packaged in a clear plastic sleeve with card backing board for protection, initialed and signed.  All prints are created with archival quality inks, on 100% cotton rag media, which is acid free and pH buffered for archival purposes.

Please note there may also be slight variations in the colors of the print due to differences between in person and on screen coloration. This listing is for a paper print only – frame and mat not included.  12 x 12 inch prints are semi-standard size, they can be easily framed with or without a mat.

Description

I had the pleasure to meet watercolor artist Julia Esdaile at the Pacific Grove Good Old Days festival which is the first weekend in May every year. A local artist living in Monterey, Julia captures the beauty of the area, waves crashing, pelicans gliding and sea lions sunbathing, not to mention the natural beauty of the landscape itself, California poppies, redwoods, and rocky California coastline.  I’d been looking for some local art to add to the Jabberwock Gift Shop and am thrilled to introduce you to Julia’s work.
