Real Oyster Shell Oyster Plate with Turtle Sauce Bowl

Beautifully hand-crafted oyster plate featuring six real oyster shell “wells” set around a mint and moss green and white dinner plate. A unique turtle sauce bowl, handmade by Tina Button, accents the plate center. Quartz beach glass fills the plate bottom like melting ice and a single real 7mm pearl adorns one of the oyster shells wells. Each hand-selected 3 to 3/12 inch Louisiana oyster shell is finished with a high gloss resin to give it a fresh-shucked wet look, revealing the oyster shell’s rich colors. The sea glass “melting ice” has also been sealed with a high gloss resin.  Plate diameter – 10 1/2 inches. Hand-wash only. Silver oyster forks and Tabasco sauce are not included.  The result – an oyster plate so fresh looking you can almost taste the cool salty oysters!  Collectible oyster plates, circa 2024. The perfect gift for oyster aficionados everywhere.

Monterey is a city on California’s rugged central coast. Its Cannery Row, one-time center of the sardine-packing industry, was immortalized by novelist John Steinbeck. Today, it’s a popular strip of gift shops, seafood restaurants and bars in converted factories. Also famous is Monterey Bay Aquarium, with thousands of marine animals and plants on display in underwater and interactive exhibits.
