  • The "bell tolls for thee" or perhaps the innkeeper at the Jabberwock Inn.  Reminiscent of the Jabberwock dragon, this cast iron work of art was crafted using the age old technique of sand-casting, giving each dragon unique character.  Outdoors it will age to a rusty patina like the bell at the front door of the Inn.  Makes an enviable housewarming gift for dragon lovers and travelers alike!   • Hand-decoupaged Pacific coast oyster shells with whimsical hummingbirds and flowers.  Each hand selected oyster shell gets ground down on the back to make it sit properly on the glass pebble feet, the hinge is touched up with black, brown and gray paint. After applying the decoupage hummingbird art and flowers, the the shell is sealed with several layers of high gloss resin which enhances the shell's colorful nacre interior and protects the decoupage. The glass pebble feet vary in quantity and color.  Some have 3 feet, some have 4 and the color can be blue, green, gold, coral or turquoise.

  • Beautifully hand-crafted oyster plate featuring six real oyster shell "wells" set around a "Royal Doulton" like gold and wedgwood blue patterned porcelain dinner plate, accented with a "sauce bowl" made from a vintage porcelian salt/nut bowl with a delicate blue flower. Quartz beach glass which fills the plate bottom like melting ice, and a single real 7mm pearl adorns one of the oyster shells wells.  Each hand selected 3 inch Chesapeake Bay oyster shell gets ground down on the back to make it sit properly on the plate, the hing is then touched up with black and brown paint, and finally the shell is sealed with a high gloss resin to enhance the shell's colorful nacre interior which gives it a fresh-shucked wet look. The sea glass "melting ice" has also been sealed with a high gloss resin. Oyster plate diameter - 10 1/2 inches.
